Here's a great new product I have just discovered in the UK.....

Its kind of like a plastic strip that you place down on the floor at room entrances and edges.
It comes in boxes of 10 or 20 and the strips can be joined to make one long spider barrier.

It works like this, there's a glue strip in the centre and the edges are slippy and sloping so
once the spider treads in the glue there is absolutely no way out....

Great website too, just be careful..... there are pictures of nasty spiders on it !!
As far as I know, they will ship outside the uk too.

The Original Spider Catcher

The world famous spider catcher has been around a while now, but it still has it's place.
If you don't have it in you to kill these eight legged beasts then you need one of these in your life.
They enable you to pick up the spider at arms length and then place it outside unharmed.
Personally, not my style - I wan't to see a permanent removal of spiders me, but hey ho, I can
understand the concept of letting nature be... just not very good at it, that's all !

Chemicals

Sometimes, if you are heavily infested, you need to get serious!
Here's a site with all the pesticides and sprays you need to kill off those spiders in your rooms.
Read the details carefully, to avoid causing damage to any other living things (including yourselves).
It's all a bit technical for me, but they sell a spider elimination kit here for $69 which will be enough
for most infestations and all you need is a garden sprayer which I believe they sell on the site too.
Again, USA only and even then, they only ship to certain states so please check before ordering.
